To meet the high-performance requirements of wireless communication front ends, Ruimeng Technology introduces the MS26760 and MS26793 low noise amplifiers. The two chips share a core architecture and are differentiated by frequency band and package: the MS26760 targets 100 MHz–1000 MHz, while the MS26793 targets 10 MHz–400 MHz.

The series features ultra-low noise of below 1 dB, high gain of over 22 dB, and low power consumption of only 12 mA, providing a cost-effective RF front-end solution for applications such as FM/DAB radios and the Internet of Things.

Product Highlights

01 Ultra-low noise improves receive sensitivity

In key frequency bands, the noise figure of both chips is below 1 dB. The MS26760 has a noise figure of only 0.88 dB at 174 MHz, and the MS26793 has a noise figure of only 0.89 dB at 76 MHz. The extremely low noise figure minimizes signal distortion and significantly improves receiver sensitivity, making the devices ideal for amplifying weak signals.

02 High power gain compensates for link losses

While maintaining low noise, the series retains high gain. The MS26760 provides gain as high as 23.4 dB at 174 MHz/470 MHz, and the MS26793 provides gain of 22.9 dB at 108 MHz/174 MHz. The high gain effectively compensates for losses from downstream filters or mixers, reducing overall system design difficulty.

03 Excellent linearity and isolation

In addition to low noise and high gain, the chips also deliver excellent linearity. For example, the MS26760 at 470 MHz has an output 1 dB compression point (P1dB) of 5.3 dBm and an output third-order intercept point (OIP3) of 16.0 dBm; reverse isolation is below -25 dB, ensuring signal purity in complex RF environments.

04 Low power, single supply, ultra-small package

The devices support single-supply operation from 2.0 V to 5.0 V, with a quiescent current of only 12 mA, helping reduce overall system power consumption. The MS26793 uses an ultra-small SOT-323 package (only 2.0 mm × 2.0 mm), and the MS26760 uses an SOT-343 package, making them ideal for space-constrained portable devices and high-density PCB layouts.

Applications

FM / DAB radios

In FM/DAB radio applications, the MS26760 and MS26793 use ultra-low noise and high linearity to significantly improve sensitivity for weak-signal reception while effectively preventing blocking interference from strong signals, ensuring stable and clear radio reception quality.

Internet of Things (IoT)

For IoT devices operating in Sub-1 GHz bands (such as LoRa and Sigfox) or lower frequency bands, the MS26760 and MS26793 can effectively improve the receive sensitivity of gateways or end nodes and extend communication range. Their low power consumption of 12 mA also meets the requirements of battery-powered IoT applications.

With ultra-low noise below 1 dB, high gain of over 22 dB, wide frequency coverage, and tiny packages, the MS26760 and MS26793 provide a cost-effective domestic option for RF front-end design.
