Product Highlights
01 High Precision: High Resolution and Strong Noise Immunity
20-bit effective resolution, up to 2 kSPS: While ensuring high-speed sampling, it provides an extremely high dynamic range to accurately reproduce small signals.
02 High Integration: Full-Function Front End, Minimal External Components
PGA 1 to 128: The built-in low-noise programmable gain amplifier easily amplifies the weak millivolt-level signals generated by sensors such as pressure bridges.
Dual matched IDACs, 10 μA to 1.5 mA: Two highly matched current sources are integrated, making it extremely suitable for ratiometric measurement and lead-wire compensation of RTDs (resistance temperature detectors).
Simultaneous 50 Hz/60 Hz rejection: A single-cycle settling digital filter achieves dual-frequency simultaneous notch filtering at 20 SPS, effectively eliminating power-line interference in complex industrial sites.
Minimal external components, lower cost and smaller size: The internal integration of a low-drift precision reference, an accurate oscillator, and a temperature sensor eliminates the need for external reference chips and external clock sources. This improves system temperature stability, significantly reduces BOM cost, and further reduces PCB area.
03 Low Power: Ultimate Energy Efficiency, Wide Voltage Compatibility
130 μA ultra-low power consumption: In duty-cycle mode, power consumption is as low as 130 μA (typical), perfectly suited for battery-powered or two-wire loop transmitter applications.
2.7 V to 5.5 V wide supply voltage: Supports a wide supply range and seamlessly adapts to the power architectures of various industrial control and portable systems.

Application Scenarios
Pressure Transmitters
The MS5120 uses the built-in PGA to amplify weak sensor signals and, combined with a precision reference, achieves ratiometric measurement to cancel bridge excitation voltage drift. The 130 μA low power consumption is perfectly suited for two-wire 4–20 mA loops, and together with power-line rejection, it ensures highly stable pressure output in complex field environments.
Temperature Sensor Measurement
Thermocouple signals are amplified by the built-in PGA; RTD temperature measurement is provided with constant excitation by dual matched IDACs, and combined with the built-in temperature sensor, high-precision cold-junction compensation is achieved, making it an excellent choice for high-end temperature transmitters.
With high resolution, a highly integrated analog front end, strong power-line rejection capability, and ultra-low power consumption of 130 μA, the MS5120 provides a highly competitive 24-bit ADC for pressure transmitters, temperature sensing, and industrial control applications.
