Three-Phase Sensorless Motor Driver
Overview

The MS39569 is a three-phase motor driver that integrates sensorless sinusoidal drive, which minimizes fan vibration in most fan-drive applications. The sensorless control eliminates the need for Hall sensors in fan applications. The MS39569 supports a maximum continuous current of 2A (peak sinusoidal current during motor operation; actual current depends on ambient temperature, supply voltage, and PCB thermal design).

The MS39569 integrates a flexible closed-loop speed control system. The EEPROM allows the fan speed curve to be customized for specific applications, and after programming, the IC can operate independently without a microprocessor.
