Dual-Channel Auto Bidirectional Level Translator for Open-Drain and Push-Pull Applications
Overview

The MS4561-2 is a bidirectional level translator. It is powered by two independently configured supplies. The A-side supply voltage range is 1.65 V to 5.5 V, and the B-side supply voltage range is 2.3 V to 5.5 V. It can be used in signal conversion systems with voltages of 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V.

When OE is low, all IO ports are in a high-impedance state, reducing static power consumption. When VCCA is powered up, OE has an internal pull-down current source. To ensure that the ports remain high-impedance during power-up or power-down, OE should be connected to ground through a pull-down resistor. The value of the pull-down resistor is determined by the pull-down capability of the drive current source.

Key Features
  • ⚫ No direction control signal required
  • ⚫ Maximum data rate: 35 Mbps in push-pull mode, 2 Mbps in open-drain mode
