Overview
The MS2548 is a half-duplex RS-485 transceiver with 3.0V-5.5V power supply, which is featured with auto direction control for RS-485 isolation port. Transmitter input is cooperated with enable signal to control the chip state and drive differential bus. The chip is integrated with hot swap and overtemperature protection. The receiver input resistance is 1/4unit load, and up to 128 transceivers can be allowed on the bus. The transmitter slew rate is not limited by the MS2548, the highest transmission rate is 20Mbps.
