-4V to 90V, 1.1MHz High-Precise Current Sense Amplifier
MSA2293
Overview

The MSA2293/MSA2294 is a high-precise current sense amplifier. It can measure the voltage drop on shunt resistor with wide common-mode voltage from -4V to 90V. Negative common mode voltage allows the voltage of shunt resistor is less than grounding voltage, thus recirculating current is precisely measured in half-bridge application. The combination of low offset voltage, small gain error and high DC CMRR can realize high-precise current measurement. The MSA2293/MSA2294 is not only suitable for DC current measurement, but also for high-speed application (such as fast overcurrent protection).

The MSA2293/MSA2294 operates from single power supply ranging from 2.7V to 30V and power supply current is 1.3mA. The MSA2293/MSA2294 provides three gain options: 20V/V, 50V/V and 100V/V. These gain options can satisfy wide dynamic range current-sensing application. The MSA2293/MSA2294 operates from -40°C to 125°C and is available in SOT23-5 and MSOP8 packages.
